Prices vary depending on the charger model, distance from the consumer unit and any additional electrical work required. Most home installations start from around £400–£700 before any grant is applied. After the OZEV grant of up to £350, many customers pay well under £400 in total.

Not always. Most modern properties have a consumer unit capable of supporting a 7kW charger without any upgrades. We check this as part of our free survey.
If your consumer unit does need upgrading or a dedicated circuit is required, we'll include this in your quote and explain the reasons clearly.
Yes — tenants can apply for the OZEV grant, but you'll need written permission from your landlord before we can carry out the installation. Many landlords are happy to agree as it improves the property's desirability and value.
Most home EV charger installations take between 2–4 hours. We'll carry out the work neatly and efficiently, and you'll be set up and ready to charge on the same day. Commercial installations with multiple units may take longer — we'll give you a timeline at the survey stage.
Yes. All chargers we install use the standard Type 2 connector, which is compatible with every electric vehicle sold in the UK. If you change your car in the future, your charger will still work. We recommend untethered units if you're likely to change vehicles regularly.
Absolutely. Smart chargers like the Zappi are specifically designed to work with solar PV systems, automatically using excess solar generation to charge your EV for free. We'll recommend a solar-compatible unit if you have or are planning panels.
